Please help im so confused I need a timing belt changing on my fiesta its high miles, but I've been told by some garages the water pump is driven by the timing belt and half say no its not and wont need changing can I please get some advice on this....is the timing belt driving the water pump or not.....Thanks in advance
there not drivin by the cam belt but on the later ones theres a bolt were the tencner is and u cart get to it un less u remove the tencher so i would replace it at same time a the cambelt
there bit steep last 1 i did for a mate was think the kit was about 60 to 70 pound and i charged him 60 to do some one might no of an good local garage to u
I know the whole kit with water pump is £131 from ford wasn't sure on costs to do it I thought £200+ seamed expensive to say its only a 3 hour job !!! such a rip off
