Hi All

Well my trusty old Tddi Focus broke down the recovery man stated he thought it could be a Slipped cam belt.I was not sure about this as the battery light came on 10 minutes before breaking down apart from that the car was driving fine.I had noticed a day before that the alternator belt was not running very smooth.Also I am sure the Alternator bearing has been abit noisy at time.

At the moment the car engine is not turning over properly I wonder if this was down to a weak/damaged alternator.The alternator belt is still intact.

Any help/advise would be a Great!.
