As the title really. I have been into Fords all my life. Although I now run Saabs, my love for classic (or older Fords) remains. I don't run them any long as I simply cannot afford them any longer, sadly.....
So back to the title - what is your fave period?
For me it would be early '80s through to around '91.
Fave cars are;
Escorts/Orions mk3 & 4
Granadas
Sierras
I have such fond memories of hanging around my local main dealerships (Central Ford - Leicester, Smith Millington - Mkt Harborough) looking in the showrooms! Good times......
60's 70/s for me
mk1 rs 2000 and the
zephyr 6 mk111
Austin healey 3000
and the series 111 E type V12 fixed head
if these 4 lived in my garage id be a happy man
you have not lived until you have driven a healey 3000 bit like owning a classic mini as its a must have in any petrol heads point in life, for me its the 60s through to early 70s too
For me it's the 80's and early 90's. my dad had loads of cortina mk5's granarda's through to Orion ghia's, sierra's inc a 2000e then onto Granada scorpio's incl a white cosworth. Things changed when the mondeo come about .
British fords I'd say the 80's , so many iconic cars produced , sometimes not the best cars but iconic all the same , American fords I'd say the 30's , model A model B , 34 ford, the 36 and the 39 fords are beautiful cars , hope to build a 34 ford coupe one day soon
