Default What is your favorite period for Fords?

As the title really. I have been into Fords all my life. Although I now run Saabs, my love for classic (or older Fords) remains. I don't run them any long as I simply cannot afford them any longer, sadly.....

So back to the title - what is your fave period?

For me it would be early '80s through to around '91.

Fave cars are;

Escorts/Orions mk3 & 4
Granadas
Sierras

I have such fond memories of hanging around my local main dealerships (Central Ford - Leicester, Smith Millington - Mkt Harborough) looking in the showrooms! Good times......

What do you think??

1950's for me my first cars were in that era. Not had a Ford other than my Cossie since 1977 which probably sums up what i think of them .

quite a few iconic cars out in the 80's.

However, in terms of car design, I quite like the period in which the Puma, Cougar, Ka and Mondeo ST24 were out.

British fords I'd say the 80's , so many iconic cars produced , sometimes not the best cars but iconic all the same , American fords I'd say the 30's , model A model B , 34 ford, the 36 and the 39 fords are beautiful cars , hope to build a 34 ford coupe one day soon

The cosworth period. Lol
Do like the fact that any rs model launched is hyped and talked about so much though..
