Sold my ST yesterday after nearly 4 years of ownership. I had got to the point of going about as far as I could go without spending big money, so decided it was time to move it on. To be honest I had got a bit fed up with having to weave around potholes, worrying about what is going to break next every time I booted it, oh and filling it up every 230 miles. Doing more miles for work now so had to get something more economical. On Saturday I stripped a load of sellable bits off it, then did nearly a straight swap at a dealers with this.

It's only a 1.8 tdci so definitely isn't quick but has plenty of toys like sat nav, keyless start etc. It'll keep me going for a couple of years while I save for a bigger house and actually have some money left over at the end of the month to do more with my daughter!

Going to keep it pretty much standard (famous last words), would like to get the wheels re-done as they are all kerbed, I might lower it a bit and stick a remap on it. That'll probably be it!

Yes it is a really nice car to drive! Already got my first problem, no o/s tail lights or front sidelight working

I've looked online and the modules can have a spaz so to reset them by disconnecting battery for 10 mins or so. Will see if it works in a bit lol

Nice car, your ST was a real beauty. Don't lower it to much or you'll be avoiding potholes again

Nah alloys went unfortunately, I'll probably keep these 18s on it as i don't want to ruin the ride again! I got the plenum, sport cat and my stereo install out, sold the plenum within an hour!

i got the o s lights working, brake / tail light bulb shorted together so module had shut that circuit down. New bulbs fitted, module reset and all's good. The adaptive lights do give issues after a bit of Googling. Normally caused by loose or dirty connections inside the headlamp so will have a nosey at the weekend.
