Default MK5 Rear Axle / Adding ABS

The rear axle on my Fiesta MK5 has taken a beating, and its bent. So im going to have to buy another one for the car. Iv seen a rear axle for sale, but it has ABS fitted. My car does not have abs and im not sure if i can still fit and use it like the old one. Although if i can, im considering maybe getting ABS fitted, if it meant i could use it.

Could I get ABS fitted to a car that originally didn't have it. ?

And/Or, could I just use it without the ABS ?

Thanks for any help provided. Cheers.

you will be fine to remove the drums/backplates from the new axle and use your old ones

stub axles are all the same so you can keep them.

fit some Poly bushes while its out
