As title i have a escort rs turbo engine and gearbox for sale, reason for sale is changing to a zetec turbo for more power.

The engine and gearbox can be sold seperatly or together.

The engine will come complete with all the stainless steel items, fuel computer, metering head, turbo and intercooler. basically everything you need to drop it into another car to run. i am only keeping the radiator.


spec includes
-The turbo is a stage 2 hybrid from turbo technics.
- group a coil
- there is a kent cam cvh 35 in the paperwork but not confirmed
(reflected in price)
- kent adjustable cam pulley
- forge dump valve
- stainless steel turbo oil pipes

i have got videos of the engine running, and the engine will still be in the car for a while longer so can be started if you want to come and inspect it.

There is plenty of dyno printouts and receipts so looks to be a well looked after car.

in the time ive owned it ive carried out an oil change and also changed the rocker cover gasket.

Gearbox

i have a receipt for the gearbox being changed in 2011 just before i owned it. it selects gears fine and there are no whines or crunches.

what ecu is it running? is it chipped?

 

I think it must be chipped to run the engine mods. but that's one thing im not sure how to check, if you can tell me what numbers or anything that can tell me if its chipped id be happy to look and get back to you

 

If you look at the front of the ecu it will have coloured squares on it or shapes. That tells you what its for. Youll need to open it up to see if its chipped or not

 

how much to get engine delivered

 

Just took the ecu off its in a chrome case with no markings, have taken photos of the inside so can e-mail them to you as im not sure what im looking at. Looks like there's an extra circuit board attached inside.
