I am looking for a meet around Sheffield, I am new to the area so it would be awesome to meet some other ford owners.

 

I'm new to this site am from mexborough be nice to meet up with a few people

 

I'm in sheffield I don't think there's a meet in general but I'm setting of around 6.45.

Hi, I'm new to this forum but not new to the sheffield meet scene,
There's a number of meets which happen regularly around the area,
Firstly there's the retro rides meet which is held on the first Monday of every month,
This is located at Meadow Farm pub restaurant in Ecclesfield, usually starts around 7:30pm,
Next there's the Lowdown meet, this happens on the third Monday of the month at the same location as above and usually at the same time 7:30pm.
Last there's the motornutz meet, usually held at the tanyard shops on bawtry road but in winter months its moved to the waverley pub in brinsworth.

Thank you for the replies i have been looking for some meets for a while at the moment im driving my old escort van which i am currently working on so im not going to be the most glamorous of drivers to tag along but i have been working on and around for most of my life as my dad was a ford technician when escorts were new and my grandad has worked on cars since the old old fords were new lol but yeah im interest to meet up and hopefully get some ideas as to what to do next on the van.

Also as a side note how do we feel about kit cars which are based on fords as my dad currently has a quantum 2+2 which is based on a 1.0 ford pop.

Sounds great tdh. Really interesting stuff, the retro rides meet would probably suit you the best as a lot of ford nuts turn up there. I'm sure you'll get lots of attention if you show up.
