Has anyone else had the problem of blowing manifold gaskets? Ive blown 2 in the last 500 miles both been fitted correctly both blown on the 3rd cylinder.
Any help would be greatful, someone suggested to me that the manifold might not be flat has anyone had this?

 

You sure its the correct gasket rs ones very similar to. The xr one but wont seal

are you using a genuine ford gasket with the fire rings built into it?

 

Mines blowing and ive got a bit of soot around no.3 cylinder using a gasket purchased from Burtons, think ill try a genuine gasket.

 

Yer its definately the right gasket suppose ill just try a different supplier
