I had my RS turbo for sale 2 months ago I guy came out said he will have it left me £200 deposit said he will have it in a few weeks

1 week later I get another £100 since then nothing he has just txt me saying he can't buy it now but I can pay him his deposit bk when I sell it on WTF.

That's 2 months less tax 2 months less mot and I could of sold that car a few times

I feel like telling him to come and collect his cash and punching his fucking head in when he gets here what a prick

Tell him to do one.If you want to be nice about it tell him its cost you X amount in whatever fees and its NON refundable.Its his own fault.

If you ever sell a car always write up a bit of paperwork that states deposits are none refundable under any cercunstances, then they can't moan because they've signed a legally binding contract and accepted your terms.

Might also be worth stating, time limits aswell, also if they go over time limits you'll be charging holding fees of £x a day, who's going to ask for refund then if they know your going to turn around and ask them for more?? Lol

He had the same thing happen, guy left a small deposit, didn't turn up on said day to collect car, rang 3 weeks after demanding his deposit,

My mate said he no longer had it and his deposit was gone and none refundable, this guy kept hounding him for weeks asking where his deposit was, so he said actually I gave it to charity, here's their details ask them for your deposit back

So would be good to state that, any none refundable deposits taken and defaulted, will go to a local charity, who's going to have the front to ask for it back then

I wouldnt have the cheek to ask anyone for a deposit back. It's there to secure the car for the buyer and compensate the seller of the buyer fails to pay up in full by an agreed time.
