The think wires for the pump to run non-stop. I think they were red and black/red.

 

top one is | vertical in the middle and the other is bottom _ horizontal in middle also, cant mind what colours or whats top n bottom but u'll see what i mean when u look!

i just did that and pump runs with the key removed !

is there another way to get the relay to click when the ignition is turned on??

 

Pin 87 and Pin 30.

Pump will run continuously even with the ignition IIRC....

VERY danagerous if you have an accident like this.

Yes. For this reason, they are a tachometric relay so cut the fuel off when it senses the engine cut out.

I can repair the relays depending on the fault......

 

how can i make it work properly with a omex ecu installed

omex can controll a fuel pump but not when the tacho is in use because it only has 1 auxilery cable

 

If you are using the tacho then leave the fuel pump relay in place taking care not to remove the green wire between the negative of the coil and the fuel pump relay itself (mounted abouve the throttle pedal).

i was just bridging it to see if that was the pob with the car, which it isn,t

so relay getting plugged back in

 

bridged relay and pump is working fine, but when bdridging the relay i found that the power is 12v but when i try to start it ti drops to between 5-6volts,

im thinking that this drop would be enough to almost stop the pump from pumping enough fuel so that the engine is getting starved of fuel when i try to start it??

It looks like you will have to take action about your constantly lit battery light.
Check if the alternator is allright. With engine running you should have about 13.5 Volts. With engine off about 12 Volts.

i took the pink relay out and shoved in a standard relay and it works

turn key pump on wheee!!

turn key again pump off!!!

A normal 4 or 5 pin relay will NOT give you safety against fire in the event of an accident.

I strongly advise you against doing this.

 

listen to daz, i drove about for a while after doing this and my engine tuner said i was rather stupid. not only are u risking your own life its your passengers.
