Is the pot full to the brim? The fluid intake for the clutch is usually right at the top, if it's only at 'max' the clutch pot probably can't draw anything in

Is the pedal up or down?
Had trouble bleeding my Cupra R clutch, I pulled the pedal up by hand and then pressure bleed it.

you are doing the press clutch and hold, open bleed nipple, close bleed nipple, release clutch method arnt you and not just pumping the pedal with the nipple open?

try sucking it through first then, you sure the new slave hasnt "popped" and is filling the bellhousing with fluid, the amount of times ive had this happen is a joke and is now why, when doing any clutch with hydraulic operation i fit the box with two bolts then bleed the clutch before building the car back up

Get yourself a gunson eezibleed kit. They are about Ł20 in halfords. Just need the air from the spare so no need for some one to pump the pedal.

Go to your local vets (yes, really) and ask for a 50/60 mil syringe, they will probably give you one free.
Fix some rubber/plastic tube on it.
Suck up some clean brake fluid, without any air bubbles in.
Attach to slave cylinder bleed nipple and then open it.
Pump the fluid out of the syringe, effectively bleeding it backwards (the fluid may overflow from the reservoir if it's full)
You may need to do repeat once or twice to get all the air out.
Works everytime and you don't even need to touch the pedal.
Hope this helps
