I stupidly volunteered to help my sister and brother in law out with taking down a small building they have at the top of their garden.

I had a quick look at the weekend and it looks like it may be asbestos! How can I tell for sure and what do I have to do? It's pretty nasty stuff isn't it. I dont want to do anything withouf finding out as i wouldnt want to put my nephew at risk in any way.

Phone the coucil (sp) if it is dangerious they will sort something out.

 

Pick a bit up and give it a good sniff. If you get lung cancer in a few monts, its asbestos. Thats how bad it is. Seriously though, phone the council and get them to take it away. Don't go near the stuff, you need all the proper protective clothing.
