A mate of mine bought a capri brooklans, the last one they made. He keeps saying he got a good deal but im sure he over paid.

It average condition and is 1988 ish.
Just thought i'd ask as im bored at work and need something to think about.

i've seen them go between 2.5k up to 6k for a mint one

That is steep, you can normally get a bit of a corker for about 6.5K

Oh, and BTW, (sorry to get my lecturing head on) they're actually called the 280S, and they were available in any colour you wanted, as long as it was - Brooklands green ,
I think that got lost somewhere in the translation over the years and some people mistakenly refer to them as Capri Brooklands this has consequentially spread like wildfire and there are now loads of people refering to them by the wrong name.
Bit like people calling Reliant Robins Robin Reliants, or every four wheel drive vehicle in the world 'Jeeps' I suppose - bizzare
