Smile zetec in a mk4?? carbs or injection??

just picked up a mk4 bonus to start as a summer project...been looking at engines that dont cost too much as im on a budget. there seems to be plenty of 1.8 silver top zetecs around for not too much money. just looking for some info as to whats needed to drop the engine into my car? is the wiring the hardest part of the conversion?
would it be easyer to go down the carb route? bike carbs and manifold kits dont seem too much money
if i was to go with standard injection what other parts would i need?
any info much appreciated! https://passionford.com/forum/images/icons/icon7.gif

I'd say carbs, they sound better, you better throttle response, less to go wrong

Bike carbs or throttle bodies. I fitted zx6r carbs to my 2.0 blacktop. Cost me Ł280 for carbs, manifold and megajolt.

Very easy to setup so far. I bought carbs and megajolt local and manifold i bought from danst on ebay. I've only just got it running but will be going for mapping soon.

If you do go carbs, get bike carbs, they stay in balance far better than Webers.

Though, for the little extra work, and the far more refinement and better results, just go with ITB's.

For carbs, the easiest and most commonly used is Megajolt ignition, simply need a 36-1 trigger wheel, cam sensor if you want 3D mapping I think, and for carbs, you're better suited with something with at least a 38mm choke, 40 would be better, so GSXR 750 at the smallest.

That's what I can remember from my original plan, but was a while back so don't quote me on details lol.
