Peugeot shocks...

Peugeot what?
106/saxo rear shocks are pretty short, as are 306 as they have a torsion bar.
I bought some escort van ones for the p100 when i first built and seem to remember them being longer.

Shorter is generally a good thing as i'll be lowering it and therefore want some stiffer shocks to stop (decrease) rubbing when loaded/cornering.
Harder Peugeot shocks will be a lot easier to get hold of than Escort van ones!
Anyone done this? Need I bother? Will it be stiff enough anyway?

They arent expensive. Get a set from a breakers for a tenner or so, fit them and see.
Ask if they will allow you to sell them back after trying their fit for 70% or something.

I'm a mechanic so I can get new parts sent FOC from the suppliers to try if I want. I just wanted to see if anyone has done it to save me and the suppliers the hassle.
