Honestly how much of a bitch are they,,, I find impreza are easy but awkward due to weight

Clio I heard you drop subframe down but never done that before and will be on driveway

What about steering rack ect,,, will that need dropping or not ?

Sorry to ask but my runabout is now stuck in 3rd after having no 5th for around a year,,, think its time to change it lol

Just make sure you lube the sub frame bolts a few days before as the captive nuts have a habit of spinning, after the subframe is down its pretty strait forward

un bolt rack from subframe

remove subframe from car (not forgetting that you will have an axle stand and rubber chock from floor to sump)

remove gearbox

its a couple of hours work on a ramp, id say 3 on the floor
with a few swear words

Yeah, never had a new car before,, always bought cheep performance cars,,, ran them till they break and buy another,,,, with the cist of cars these days it makes no sence fir using it daily,,,, also no running costs, makes my garage rent half price which is 600 quid saving and res permit is 15 quid a year compared to 300 a year or what I do at the min is drive 5 miles from my home and get bus back

I hate finance but the price I'm paying its worth it tbh to have a presentable motor for funerals weddings ect as currently I borrow friends and family cars for that type of thing

I still got the impreza though

As for price,,, its worth 300 quid with the exhaust, chipped ecu and mintex pads,,, 150 for a gearbox and 250 for belts and dephaser and you got a cheep track car

I can run it in for 200 quid or even sell engine, wings, trim, wheels ect and get 700 quid for it

I just can't be bothered with it when I can smoke about in a new car for about the same and I need to focus on getting my impreza running

So first 300 quid wins it lol
