Just got these pics from Mark. Marks like a kid drooling over it. Will go over to take a look tomorrow. First on a Cossie & we think the first 9180 in the UK. Not been told the price yet but who cares its what ive waited best part of 2 years to get.
Please not that is not my manifold.
Its rated at 950bhp on the housing shown. Ive already ordered a bigger housing thats due in the summer that will be 1000+bhp. It wont make that on mine though around 850 I guess im sure Mark has more idea. Ive purchased it for spool not more Power as it is still a road car the results are incredible on the smaller ones.
Its been a long wait & im now glad the car has been on hold untill it arrived. Will discuss with Mark putting this new engine on the Dyno but im not sure how easy it is with the dry sump system.
Wow!!
Just got back from Marks first reaction to the 9180 its remarkably small. Next to the GTX4202 its an inch or so less diameter. Its probably around a gt40 in size. Its an impressive bit of kit though with a built in dump valve so i will run 2 dump valves. The most remarkable thing is its weight about half of the GTX42 I guess.
HI ROD
that looks a very nice piece of kit , is exhaust housing stainless ,i know your building the car back for top speed run ,i was wondering why you need such a big turbo could you not run a smaller one for less lag and just more gas so you can build speed faster given the room you have to reach top speed os doesent it work like that ,now you have all the parts now how long will it be before its running again

thats the beauty of them imo a gt40 size turbo that is capable of 950 hp.
