How many 'M' plate Saph Cossies were made?

As title... Curious as I didnt think there were any...
Bumped into a bloke in a petrol station today who said he had the only M plate 4x4 Saph?
He said it hadn't been out of his garage in years. The old boy must have been in his 70's I reckon and quoted he was 'going to be burried in it'

Well there was a white m plater in fast ford a while back, that had been rebuilt after it just stoved up the arse. they are rare, but there will always be a few late registered for what ever reason
Yeah, it's not so much a case of when they were made as much as when they eventually got bought and registered.
Perhaps the few that appear on L reg and so on where sat on the four court.
Having said that I don't know how late you could get hold of them? Maybe you could have ordered one?
It's great to see though, not sure about the bottom of the doors.

There definitely was one in the southampton area a few years ago, was owned by an older guy, he used to bring it to the old dorset/hants Beaulieu RS show each year, not seen it for a few years now.
