hi guys my 3 door recaro seats are in very condition but its like the springs are cutting through the foam and its loosing its ridgidity and is getting uncomfortable .is the foam available or what can i do with these seats ?

 

most trimmers would be able to sort it out for you I would have thought

 

Capital seating in Bristol does the seat foam bases(diaphragm they are called).As said above though any decent trimmers would be able to sort it for you.

there is a guy in the cortina club who is very good with seats - he worked for Ford's in Cork. I will see if I can get his no.

just got brand new foam bolster for 30 quid for recaro seat on ebay .its amazing what turns up on ebay if you keep an eye on it .

How easy / what was the process for replacing the Recaro seat base foam ??

Did mine years ago, other than removing a few hog rings the process was very easy, I replaced full base foam and side bolsters on seat base and back. Recaro seats are a very simple construction
