Fiesta 2 litre conversion diesel gearbox or rst
I will be putting a standard 2 litre blacktop into a Quntum H4 (Fiesta Mk3.5 si based).
The car already has a 1.6 zetec, rather than using the 1.6 ib5 box I thought I may as well change this at the same time to either a 1.8 Fiesta diesel box, apparently the ratios better suit the 2 litre engine, or an RS Turbo box with a LSD.
I'm not sure whether its better to go for the diesel box for the better ratios, or the RST box for the LSD - any views on this would be appreciated.

Derv box has a shit first and second and is not stronger.
Rs turbo box has LSD which is good. But gears are to long IMO
What yo want is a sport is gear box and the rs turbo diff which is a stronger box.
( all from past experience. )
