Default poor starting cossie management cvh

hey people just wondering if someone could chuck some ideas my way about the prob im having.i recently bought an orion cvh turbo with cossie management which i believe its an l6 ecu.the prob im having is it cranks for ages when cold before it eventually fires up.
its still running a dizzy just wondered if theres any common things to look for?

If it's fine when hot then I'd take a stab at coolant temp sensor.

Coolant Temp Sensor Checking
1) Ensure ignition is OFF.
2) Remove rear of ecu plug cover and insert plug back into ecu.
3) Turn ignition back on (do not start engine)
4) Check resistance between pins 29 and 11. Should be 800 to 5000 ohms (depends on temp). If outside this range, check sensor and/or wiring.

once its started haz it runs fine.just take ages to crank and stinks of fuel once its started.i believe the guy i bought it off told me it had a poor cold idle but seems fine to me
