Reluctant sale of my Mondeo ST - this has been a brilliant car and I will be very sorry to see it go.

The ST is loaded with equipment such as:

Power steering
4 x electric windows
Remote central locking
Electric mirrors
6 speed gearbox
Half leather interior with electric & heated front seats
Cruise control
Sony 6 disc changer with Aux input and steering wheel controls
Heated front and rear screens
Auto windscreen wipers and lights

Full ST bodykit

The interior of the car is mint and has the correct Mondeo floor mats fitted. The condition of the interior is reflected in the low mileage.

The bodywork is also in excellent condition and looks brilliant when cleaned and polished. There are no dents or rust on this example. The alloys were refurbished about a year ago and are still in great condition, except a few minor marks.

Car runs and drives exactly as it should. I have seen between 50 & 60mpg on a long run which is impressive for a car of this size and power! Its a lovely car to drive and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere! The hose from EGR to intercooler is common for splitting, and this has been replaced with an uprated silicon hose which is guaranteed for life of the car. There are no warning lights on the dash

The rear brakes have recently been completely overhauled,as this is a common Mondeo problem. This car just had 2 x new rear callipers and handbrake cables so is working exactly as it should be.

Only bad points I can think of are, a blown bulb in clocks (will try and look at this before sale) and a few stonechips which is to be expected with age/colour.

I am reluctantly selling the car due to a change of personal circumstances. Apologies for the lack of pictures, computer was playing up but I will get some more asap!

It's a great car, and does everything so well.

I'm only selling as don't really need a diesel anymore and got my eye on a Sapphire Cosworth.

Stunning car this.

 

These are brilliant cars, I've had mine 5 years now. Mine's done 113,00 miles, just under 100,000 of those I've done myself and it still goes so well and just has everything you could want on a car. As said I get 50mpg consistently on the motorway, and it is so torquey. I'd recommend them to anyone, a heck of a lot of car for the money, and they handle well too for a big old bus. To be honest it's probably the best all round car I've ever had.

 

Thanks Glenn, and totally agree with you Trev. I'm not in an immediate rush to sell as it does everything so well! Heated front screen and seats were a godsend this morning!

i sold my st tdci last year to pay for my wedding, these are really awesome cars

the ONLY thing i didnt like about it was the gearing i used to go 1 3 5 6 or 1 2 4 6
