Hi all, a couple of pics of us at Rockingham stage rally a week ago, got to run as course car, trying to keep the old bird out there!!

What the story with it?

 

Well in brief, its my 2 wheel drive tarmac rally car that i have been running on stage rallys for 10 years, its a 2.4 "stroker", Glebe "dog" box and ZF Lsd, 355,s with 6 pot willwoods, bias pedal box etc, Its getting a bit tired now, not a proper panel gap in sight!! Its done 50 event starts so is very used!

i like that car. is it a genuine bonnet as vents look very high.

 

No m8, fibre glass bonnet, tailgate and spioler, as well as both bumpers. Got to save the weight!!

 

Out of interest what does it weigh? I'd like to get my road car down to about 1150kg whilst retaining all the niceties

 

To be honest I have never got to a weigh bridge! Keep meaning to !!
I use plastic windows, only have the roof vent for cool air, the doors are tottaly gutted as well, it all helps!

 

A very small clip someone took, had trouble getting the mich slicks to grip!
