Help. TDI 2L 57 plate. Engine has whistled for 6 months. 6 cut outs now in four months. Normally at steady 70mph. Engine feels like it pops and then lose power pull to side of road switch back on after a few minutes and it is ok again.
When it cuts out get Red Engine failure message and yellow car sign with skid marks come on but initially no engine mgt records stored post event. recently had egr record so changed valve but had another cut out . Eng mgt now says turbo boost problem. Also morning after last cut out had immobiliser activated message come up but car started and drove ok.
