Default Ford Ka rally car build

Hi, new on here but your probably gonna see me on here a lot now. Just bought a standard ka(1300) endura, which is going to be built for the mull rally. My dad has a garage and has also done his fair share of rallies so were not total new comers but new to fords as its all been classic minis in the past.
Wanting some advice on
- brakes, iv beard mondeo brakes fit?
- gears, closer ratios an lower diffs?
- and also fueling, rejetting or using carbs, whos done what?
Everything else will be easy enough
Cheers

Mondeo brakes fit, you'll need the carriers, st170 discs, the carriers need spacing 3mm IIRC.
What engine are you intending on using?

Mk3 are the one's generally used, petrol/diesel are the same.
In my opinion you'd be better off finding a set of throttle bodies from a bike, GSXR1000/R1 are what most people use but are getting dear because of that, plenty of other alternatives though.
You'll obviously need managment to run it, depending on who will be mapping it they'll have a preference.

I will be able to find some brakes easy enough then. Am i right in thinking the puma master cylinder is a popular upgrade to? The fueling is the last thing on the list to be honest, gonna be super busy with roll cages/fire etx/and wiring etc first
Are there any specialist uning companies? For mini parts i just use minisport but all i seem to find for the ka is body kits and chavvy bling lol

I've known people to use 2.0ltr master cylinders, not sure I've heard anyone using the Puma one though.

Not really, for general stuff I'd be looking on Demon Tweeks, Burtons and Europerformance.co.uk.

as for the gears the 1400 puma box has good ratios along with a couple from your ka box with puma linkage. are you leaving open diff or going lsd?
