airbag light

I have just got a KA for my son as his first car, it has had a minor bump in the past and suspect the airbag has deployed. is there something needs resetting or replacing to resolve airbag light.

I would get it on a diagnostic machine and read the codes first.
There are so many reasons why this light can be on.
