I have a fresh Ryan engine loom To Fit on my engine. The problem I have is the plug that goes onto the loom Inside the car.
Basically I have the plug end adapter ready to
Fit to ignition/fuel pump/ live feed etc. But I have no idea what wire does what, as the plug adapter that clips onto the Ryan loom has no wires in the end.
If anyone could help or has the wire code info for the ryans loom thanks.

Hello mate . Okay thanks that might be very usefull to me, that part I need to look at will be on the interior someplace. Its the part that you plug all the wiring in the car to the loom. Ignition,fuel and feeds etc.

 

Weather permitting i will be removing the lower part of my dash on Tues/wed so i can take pictures of my plugs as i have a Ryan loom in mine

 

Yes, might be able to see the plug without removing the glove box as the plug is wired into the loom about there, just let me know when & if you would like to look

 

Okay that would be a great help if you would be so kind. A picture of the plug and wires would good. All I need to see is what colour wires come out of the multi plug connector for all live feeds/rev/fuel etc, and what way round they go and plug into the Ryan loom.

My instructions with my loom says this :

1/ ignition live. ( connect to black wire on main loom )
2/ water temp. ( connect to Brown/White white on main loom )
3/ tachometer/rev counter ( connect to Green wire on main loom )
4/ fuel pump ( connect to Black/Red wire on main loom )
5/ permanent battery 12v Live ( connect to Blue/Red on main loom )
6/ spare.

I've got the instructions here if you need a copy but you would need to check that they aren't different from your loom so I'm only quoting what the instructions from Car Looms UK supplied with my loom,

Thats all they say ok the 1st 3 are obv but only 1 ign what do I do about it?

Is it scrap now?

How do I know what wire on the loom to connect it too?
