He loved that Escort - remember following one of the rallies with my friend who worked for Motoring News. JC was staying at the same hotel as the rest of us and whilst he was in the bar someone managed to get his keys and move his car from the front to the back car park........ He was quite upset when he thought it had been stolen.

 

I watched it last week it's only James may that's not liking it because clerks on was not liking some of his rolls royces .... Tongue in cheek that's all.

I see it quite often as I get on well with its current owner and it was at the RS day I arranged this year at the ace cafe along with his yellow mk Mk1

 

Ckarky likes his escort cossies.Ive seen a few clips of him talking about them.

 

He said on radio today that it isn't about the worst cars as such, but about the worst cars from manufacturers that generally do better, offering the Mondial as the example from Ferrari or the X3 from BMW.

Still not clear why he'd think the EsCos is a bad car from Ford?

 

As said, it wasn't Clarkson (we all know Clarky loves an EsCos) - it was James May's piece (as a get back at Clarkson for slating May's cars), but May was pretty funny, hence why I posted it up - or tried to!

It's worth a watch (the whole DVD I mean), but it's not a keeper...
