Is it 2wd or 4x4 cos starter is swappable with mondeo and from which model , can't remember

Doubt it, being it's a totally different engine, the YB starter even differs from that of a Pinto!

NOT sierra/P100 1.8td

also CVH starters bolt right on

You learn something new everyday, it's strange how starters fit from completely different engines, but the engine on which it's based dosen't .

I got in the poop one day with my standard Cossie and had to fit an old Escort CVH one. Sold it with it still fitted lol. Worked fine - would struggle on non standard tho I would have thought.
