My silvertop has developed a rattle. its not going to be easy to find the rattle without stripping it so if its out then is it worth fitting a blacktop in its place? For a starters will all the manifolds and mounts fit? Water and oil pump changeable? Sumps? What about st170? If you know of any threads that may be of help to me can you point me in the right direction please. otherwise ill just refit a silvertop

manifolds and sump will fit. but the blacktop sump is better.

have you checked the tensioner, i've seen them make a rattle before

Ok ill have a look. tensioner is ok. Timing checked.
