you just need to swop 2 wires around on the TPS
I did this about 12 years ago whilst my L8 on my old saph 4x4 was being fixed

Not true, whilst it's correct you would need to invert the wires at the TPS, you would also need a PF01 TPS (Which OP has, so not a problem in this case)
Also you will no longer be able to run a knock sensor, and if OP's is YBG, (green cam cover) he will loose C/L.
Obviously you will need a calibration (EPROM) to suit as well, so no, it's not just a case of simply swapping the ECU's over.
its just a ecu i had laying about. i got my 4x4 as a rolling shell. i am using the 2wd inlet and throttle sensor ect
What loom will you be using L8 or L6? , as Marty has said if level 8 loom on 2wd ecu and tps switch the wiring (outer 2 wires) over . Plug and play if a L6 2wd loom.
Thanks for all your help what wires do i need to switch ? If I just plug the l6 in will it still start up? I just want to get it running I will get a l8 soon
Have a look here www.bigturbo.co.uk in the wiring section you,ll see the tps . pin 11 ,17,30. You need to swap 11 (ground) and 30(5v) at the tps itself.
