1999 1.6 petrol focus wow still problems

Default 1999 1.6 petrol focus wow still problems

Ok guys and gals my focus was kangerooing bad on idle changed icv stooped doing it , but now using way too much fuel still,changed temp sensor gauge goes upto half then idles at 800 which is cool then start to drive and gauge goes down to zero the revs go back up to 1200 revs like choke is always on,changed plugs and theottle postion sensor but still revs too high and fuel going down too quick,24 miles to 10 pounds ,theres no fuel leaks any where,any ideas please feel free thank yous,

Thermostat will be stuck open so the engine is running cold and holding the auto choke on.

Check the breather pipe underneath the inlet manifold

And this would cause it to use more fuel yes

Yes because it will always be running cold hence running rich.
