Angry help! ford Techs! It's driving me crazy.

My Chime for 'lights left on' isn't working!

It's a 2009 Ford Cmax Diesel. I keep leaving my lights on because of it.
The chime works if you don't have your searbelt on ETC. It's Set correctly in the dashboard menu. I just can't seem to get it to work.

Is there any ford techies that have seen this problem before?

Any info would be appriciated

Thanks

Its more than like the door ajar switch playing up, not sure if they have a separate one or if its built into the door latch though.

The interior light illuminates/goes out when door is open/closed so should that not eliminate the switch?

Had this on a focus, the chime never worked, it required a reprogram of the instrument cluster. If the chime did work, and now stopped, it may be something else
