zetec oil breather

Default zetec oil breather

does anyone run a aftermarket oil breather or catch tank on a zetec engine, if so wot and how hav u done it?

is the standard set up just crank case breather round to rocker cover?\

the standard breather is piped back into the air intake . just fit a tank and put both of them to it and vent the tank to atmosphere.

i'd post a pic of mine but its a little different to the norm with it being dry sump.

cheers but im running carbs so how do i go about that now? where will the rocker cover one go?

Makes no difference mate, just run the one from the front breather on block to pot and rocker cover to pot, then pot to atmo

I'm building a zetec turbo, and I'm hoping to plumb it in in the same layout as my cvh turbo unless I'm advised otherwise, using a bailey breather btw

that what my initial plan was but wanted confermation, seems all is well to proceed!!!!

I ran a catch tank from the rocker breather, then back into the breather (snapped the k&n bracket, hence excuse the cable ties)
