is there anything you can get to remove light marks,scratches from plastic type headlamp lenses/covers?

i did mine recently with stuff i had laying around.

2000 grit, 2500 grit, g3 and some g10 with a load of elbow grease then some sealant/wax.

toothpaste is meant to be good believe it or not. I am sure there are other more purpose designed products as well.

toothpaste works, but wet sanding and buffing works a lot better

I've done a few now, flat back with various grades of wet and dry up to 3000 then machine polish with g3 scratch remover and polish then a good sealant. Done my brothers clio and my dads little matiz in the last few weeks, both have come up mint.

I have done my headlights by flat back with various grades of wet and dry up to 2000 then machine polish with some Brasso metal polish. Took about 1.5 hour to finish one headlight cover but very good result.

The Meguiar's headlight restoration kit (that comes with a little mop) works really well.
