my series 2 is almost finished now. where the old triangular breather used to be on the front of the block, i need to block off somehow. Does anyone know the best way to do this?

Also, i want to make my oil return pipe fom my turbo to go where the flywheel timing bolt goes? Anyone know if thers someone that sells a threaded outlet pipe for this??

Ah excellent! cheers for that!

Ok, just as high up in the sump as possible i take it? spose the best way is to take the sump off and drill a hole and tap it for a union to thread into it? on the bottom of my turbo i have a tapered bit for a hose to be clamped onto. il try and get the same sort of thing to screw into the sump.

Sorry for being a bit simple, ive never done anything like this before!

Thanks!

Ive just bought the blanking plate. Is your sump a 1.8 or a 2.0? As i need a 1.8 sump so my exhaust clears?

Cheers

Don't block it off, it needs to breathe as much as possible!
