Default Unmarked police car pulled me today!

As above was out in the turbo pulled up outside me mates house to find a CID had followed me, basically I gave the turbo a crack thrash down the dual carriage near me and I bomb past them! Dam!!! Basically said to me the next time they catch me they will take the car off me!!! WTF surely they can't do that?

What your views?

youve just earned yourself a section 59. expect it in the post.

2 section 59's in 12 months = car seized.

They are practically impossible to contest as well.

Did they say they were issuing a section 59?

If not I doubt it can just arrive in the post

I'm pretty sure all section 59s I know of were issued on the spot and confirmation through post, so id say it were just scare tactics mate

If they were going to do something they would have cautioned you there and then. Wouldn't be too worried at all about it mate

its happened to people on here before. Some guy had his plate noted exiting a cruise. No paperwork given, s59 arrived by post.

Also seen same on pistonheads people getting s59 in post on the basis of nosey nieghbours "evidence" phoned to the cops.
