Default Here we go again.........

Well,

done loads of work to the car to get it ready for an MOT tomorrow morning. Gave myself plenty of time so as to cover everything (booked 3 weeks ago).

Have had to move the car loads of times and all ok. Moved it tonight so I could cut the grass. Jumped in it to move it back and THE BLOODY THING WON'T GO!!!!

It messed and chuffed a bit and would occasionaly try to fire on one cylinder. I have a fuel gauge fitted and so know it has fuel. Took number one lead off and hd a plug on the rocker cover - very good spark. Did not test the other 3 cylinders. Did not listen to see if the injectors were firing though.

I really can't believe my luck. The night before the MOT and this. I have had a hard day and tbh can't be doing with the damn thing right now. Its booked in at 08:30 and so an early start for me yay not.

Any inspirational ideas for me in the morning - I have good fuel pressure and a good spark on number 1. Thats it for now - not going back out and if I can't sort it I will have to call and apologse.

I checked all sensor connections. I even squirted easy start into the turbo but nothing :-(

Hope ya can help.........

I drove it 20 yards and went to start an hour later and nowt. Not touched a thing.

I am thinking plugs as I put a new set in and had to change them not long back. The car has not been on a run yet, only bits and bobs outside the house etc. I was drifting it round the back yard on Saturday though lol.

I have had it up to temp when running it - I bet it is plugs

I've just had the same problem with my saff lol had it at work while I did the fuel system and it ran fine the hole time! Even moved it round the workshop 4 or 5 times as we are busy. The day I take it home it misses like fuck as it comes on boost then the next day it would hardly run at all. But it was the plugs so I fitted a new set and it's fine now

I had a similar problem quite a few times and it was my 071c plugs fouling, took em out and heated em with a torch for a min and they were fine.
