Default What would happen?

If the Thermo time switch and or the engine temperature sensor is not working. What difference would it make to the way the engine runs. I recently dissconected the thermo time switch to see what would happen and it made no difference so would this mean that the sensor is faulty. Would it still work even if the cold start injector has been dissconected any advice would be grateful
WHICH ENGINE COMPONENT compensates idle speed?

the rst uses ke jetronic so the fuel is injected mechanicaly. The electronic side of the injection process(pressure actuator) is for cold starting/full throttle/overrun cut off. The ecu needs to know how cold or warm the engine is via temp sensor, so the cold start injector can be operated but this is only when temps are well below freezing, not really needed in this country, so once the engine is running you can disconect the four sensors round the back of the inlet without affecting the way the engine runs hope this helps.
