Apply vacuum or pressure as required and measure the output voltage. Same as any map sensor.

I tried but found it much easier to fit a known working one to help identify problem, over the years I have collected all sensors in known working condition, I find it the easiest way, not difficult to find a good 2 bar sensor used and far less hassle than monitoring outputs.

Nice to help, i always use this for sensoe check on Cosworth`s even that we Ford`s one at work

I got test leads, with male and female timer plugs on either end and test points (4mm banana sockets) mounted in a box.

We have an y-cable and a breakout box, whit test points at work. Y-cable is for Cosworths and breakoutbox is for many cars
