I'd love it, but can't justify £200 for it. Looks nice but 4x the price of good used one I bought for building my Newman cam kit into.

looks like an XR3i head to me

would be worth it if all new valves were fitted etc

is the metering head for RS Turbo or MFi XR3i?

I believe most 1.6 cvh heads are the same between carb, MFI XR3i and RST. It's only the valves which differ on the RST. Just to confuse things, there are different types of CVH head which include the 'cross hatch' version which has thicker walls so can be ported more and larger valves can be fitted.

I believe the heads are all the same too other than the cross hatch version, not sure how to identify it?
It does seems a lot but it cost me a lot more and is the perfect base as there can't be many new heads left!
The metering head is sold.

They are all interchangeable between mfi cars, and that's a non cross hatch. End of the day it only matters if you're getting it ported to the max cause it has that bit extra margin.

I have pictures of efi and mfi cross hatch heads for comparison, I have both at the moment.

If someone were restoring a car it'd be ideal really.

Thanks for that info. My plan was to build a new engine with best parts I could get so this would have been ideal.
