well that fuse clearly protects certain items on the car so once find that can start to look at certain wiring or components etc

Could be many things, bad earth, poor connection, damaged wiring, broken wire...

It's not the answer your looking for, but the best thing is to have a good going over of the cars earth wires, lights, make sure all the bulbs etc are correct and fitted correctly, check the rating of the fuse is correct and not just a replacement for what was in there as that could be wrong to start with.

Quickest way to check is to disconnect the circuits that aren't working individually i.e rear lights first, try the fuse, reverse light switch, try the fuse etc so it may then show which circuit is blowing it,if your lucky and it's the reverse light switch just leave it disconnected but obviously if it's something a bit more important like brake lights etc then you may need to rewire them.
I'd say though it's most likely the fuse box as its really common on them although it's pretty easy to change like for like and you could get one from the scrappy for a tenner, worth a try.

The fuse is supposed to protect the wining so you do not get an electrical fire! from what you say I suspect part of the loom has been squished a bit or gone rusty. try one a a time and see what blows!

PM me if not too far from Manchester!
