I have a 2008 zetec mondeo 2.0 diesel and it is makin a bit of a noise when u are driving slowly in it and also the sign with a car and 2 slippy lines keeps coming on and saying engine malfunction. the mechanic looked at it and said it has to do with the turbo and that he had fixed it but the light is continuing to come on and that the rattling noise could be heloed by taking off the cover on the engine or something!! as i dont know much about cars can anyone out there helo me with this matter??? the mechanic was not a ford dealer!!

 

Where is the noise coming from exactly? It sounds like a wheel bearing fault tbh with the traction control light being on, the traction control works through the abs sensors and the pick up ring for the sensor is on the back of the wheel bearing. Sounds like this ring is damaged.
