Was this car from Blakes on Prescott Street?
I could be wrong but the reg on this car is quite familiar. When i worked at Peoples ford in liverpool (formally Skyway ford and later Blakes) There used to be an old guy who would come in with a bog standard radiant pink FRST. It had about 30k on the clock (this was approx 2000-2002) At that time the car had the original Pirelli P600 tyres on! We replaced all 4 with Pirelli P700's IIRC. Could this be the same car?

It was Blakes of Liverpool and may have been Prescott street but not sure. That said, i know the 1st or second owner had it for over 10 years from memory BUT..... as it had different wheels on for a long time, the standard wheels are still wearing the P600's right now. That said, they are in excellent nick and no points were raised on the MOT about them (i was stood next to the tester the whole time he was doing the MOT lol chatting about the car!)

Wouldn't it be crazy if it was the same car!? small world sometimes!

It very well could be. I remember the old guy saying its a bit hard for him to drive as it had no power steering and his son who he said was 35 sometimes used the car and drove it like a "pratt" and he was not happy about him using it. He claimed the car had never been on a motorway or been over 70 with him driving it! The guy was in his late 60's early 70's so he might of traded the car in or passed away and his family offloaded the car......

Forgot to say in the ad above, 3 tyres are the original Pirelli P600's and the 4th is on the spare wheel. The car had different Ford wheels on for many years from what I can see which is the reason for this. No problems with these on the service or MOT however, flew straight through. Lovely smooth red paint due to lots of polish and the standard Fiesta Turbo gearknob has a bit of wear as usual, but the standard 'turbo' steering wheel is minty mint

So nice that, looks really genuine and with a little bit of paint in the bubbly bits would be nigh on perfect.

It does look to be in good nick! well done for keeping such a nice example of the car! It is even in the right colour (like mine ) . I would hope for a bit more than £3800 if I were you. Good luck.
