That said, they are in excellent nick and no points were raised on the MOT about them (i was stood next to the tester the whole time he was doing the MOT lol chatting about the car!)

It very well could be. I remember the old guy saying its a bit hard for him to drive as it had no power steering and his son who he said was 35 sometimes used the car and drove it like a "pratt" and he was not happy about him using it. He claimed the car had never been on a motorway or been over 70 with him driving it! The guy was in his late 60's early 70's so he might of traded the car in or passed away and his family offloaded the car......
