Basically im looking to get shocks and springs for a project XR2 as it has 50k on the clock and is still on the originals - Im in no rush and have been shopping about for ages

Just wandering if anyone has any recommendations regarding MK2 XR2 suspension or indeed the above spax product

I sold it about 3 months ago coz i knew the engine was gonna go, just surprised it's lasted so long! I bought and fitted the 4 pots and did all the welding that was needed for the MoT. The car is good but would ultimately benefit form a better engine and i don't think G-max suspension is great, i'd swap that for some adjustable Koni's and it would be extremely sorted. Where you from anyway? How much you getting it for if you don't mind me asking?

how did u know the engine was on its way out?

im sure he said he had it a year

it is a nice car and even without an engine i'd still take it cos i love my xr2's
