Default my 1.8 si bargain

Hi everyone my names matt and I have left the league of the griffen to join the mighty league of the blue oval lol.
I recently perchesed myself a 1.8 s.I Mk6 escort hatch. It has 124,000 miles on the clock and a very short mot and tax but I'm doing a rolling restore on it.
So far its had new break pads drop links osf wish bone and the idle control valve (that was a tricky one lol) but I have done it all my self and feel a real sense of acheavment doing it.
Here is what it looks like now

Now I still have the exhaust to do (but it will be going into the garage for that as its rather rusty) also cv boot ns. The paint work is scratched quiet bad but I'll soon sort that with my buffer lol and there's a rusty arch to sort and some little electrical bits.
Now I'm wondering is there any meets coming up around the fleet Hampshire way? Hope to make some new mates and look forward to my time here

I used to have one of those. The seats are the best bit, the understeer the worst but overall it was a great little car.
