Default injectors

hi all just a quick question.
i am wanting to no would it be ok for me to drive for about 1hour an 20 mins to get to grove garage for my set up on green injectors.
the reason i am asking is this since rebuilding the engine from doing the head gasket i have acoured so many problems an one of them is due to my old set up
i cant just plug in an play my ofab ecu, greens, 2.5bar map sensor an a chip to get me to the garage so i have thort run it on standard set up being blues, ofab map sensor to get me there as i dont want any majour damage to happen if it happens that is. the problem i am having is when i drove it on greens for 10mins it felt ok no messing about quite smooth an seemed fine but when i put all the standard stuff on it run like a bag or balls. i.e wanting to nearly stall. so would it be ok to run on the greens for that amout of time? also have noticed that on the blues the spark plugs are going white on the end which i no is not good an that was just a drive to the petrol station an idleing.

cheers ollie

Who advised you to use greens on ofab?

I take it they are 803s

you can't use bosh 0280150 803 injectors the eec4 requires 16 ohm injectors the 803 commonly known as greens are 4ohm
ford did however change the colour of the standard eec4 injector to a shade of green
which are the same as the std eec4 blue

You need to find out what they are mate, as 803s will burn the drivers out, which usually results in the lack of fuel burning your pistons and valves out around the same time for a double wallet whammy.

Wel if you remember stu I was messaging you a while ago about having my car setup with the ofac an one of your chips remember?
While I was doing my head gasket an other stuff I got I was offered greens plus an ofab ecu an chip mapped by Ahmed byjoo for Ian Howell all I needed was a 2.5 bar map sensor which I got. Was told I just plug an play an have it setup as it was all running on the s2 an went like stink. I did just that but it spat its dummy out an runs like a bag of shit like its on 3 an stinks of fuel big time an smokes but with the chip out an map sensor changed to the ofab one an the suppressor back in it runs like normall.

I am taking it to grove garage to mo spoke to Ian last night about it an he said it will be ok to go from the m25 to the garage as that's we're I can get it trailered to.
What I don't understand is why is it not running propper I.e plug an play
Cheers ollie
