I'm sure this been done before

Got a track saff and want to up power after shows , got stage 3 with t34.63 and greens , 335bhp 363lbft .

What next turbo and be good on track ?
I know slot of people like/dislike t38's but want some opinions on turbos .

I want a responsive trackday car and my thought is gt30 but unsure right for me

I await the replys

 

Engine spec will be pocketed pistons , long studded block and maybe ported head and inlet cam

 

I'm interested to know also mate, wanting 400bhp top but would like super responsive also!!

Thought a gt28rs? Prob get shot down now...lol

Scs spec t38.. Or gt3071

 

Gt3071.82 or even better a gtx3071.82.

Mapped right with the right inlet cam will be a reponsive as at34 car but with 100 hp more!!!

T38 can be mega responsive on a live map easily, I have a T4 (not live mapped) and it's like waiting for a bus for it to make boost. I am planning to get it properly set up oce I have the right transmission to cope with the power. If cost is not an issue then I'd go for the most responsive and modern design of turbo you can get to match the spec. no brainer really, but speak to a well established tuner to find out what would suit it best.

 

I'd get your car sorted first as there is 50 bhp missing from the turbo you already have
if you are wanting to up spec the turbo you'll need to up size the injectors too
I have turbo's and siemens injectors as well as some trick maps

 

What sort of prices for 400-450 bhp ?

It will mostly be a track car but will be used on road
