Default mk5 rs into mk7 encore

Hiya guys im new on here but I need some help I am converting a mk7 1.3 escort encore 2 an rs 2000 I've fitted all the under bonnet looms in but the problem is I can't mate the encore dash looms to the rs fusebox can any1 tell me if the mk5 dash loom will fit the mk7 dash or any ideas on how 2 get around this fusebox problem

Any help would be VERY helpful thank you

first off.. no such thing as a mk7

secondly, your RS loom doesnt fit the encore loom, because encores were the lowest spec, they had sod all electrics fitted tot he interior, the RS likely had nearly the full options list


now whether a mk5 loom fits a mk6 dash setup its hard to say, why not just buy a mk6 interior loom?

or just add to your encore loom for the relevent wires, eg instrement cluster

In the end I fitted a mk5 dash in with wiring then got a mk5b rear loom to run fuelpump and rear lights just need to get it running now lol do u no if having no clocks fitted would affect the starting or running of the escorts

I just find it easier explaing to people using mk 5/6/7 some ppl get confused by 5/5b/6 sorry lol

Some people are just picky matey Even if it's called a mk6, everybody would know what you meant when you said mk7
